Open Seat on New Albany City Council

New Albany City Council is seeking interested and qualified residents to serve the community by filling a current vacancy on Council. The applicant must be a New Albany resident living inside the corporation limits for at least one year. If you are unsure, you can check your residency status online with the Franklin or Licking County Auditors. Broadly, Council is responsible for setting policy, adopting the annual budget, adopting laws, and determining the services to be provided and the funding levels for those services. Council meets on first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. and holds special meetings and workshops as needed. Council members have additional duties and responsibilities as described in the application.

You can download the application at these links.
